The non-profit organization Convictus Estonia has provided syringe exchange services and counselling to people who inject drugs since 2003.
is to minimize the harms and costs that people who use drugs can cause to the society, fellow people and themselves.
The aim of the syringe exchange service is to remove potentially infected syringes from circulation and provide accessible services to people who use drugs. In addition to that, the syringe exchange service establishes contact with people who use drugs, which makes it easier to provide them health care services, counselling and information. Harm reduction services are operated by Convictus in Tallinn, Maardu and Rakvere at the following addresses.
