SUPPORT PERSON SERVICE FOR PEOPLE WHO USE DRUGS
The aim of harm reduction centres is to provide health care and social services in order to reduce risks associated with drug use. Harm reduction centres provide help aimed at reducing psychological, social and physical harms and unwanted side effects associated with drug use.
All harm reduction services are anonymous and free for the clients. Our specialists will help you find the kind of help that most suits you. Loved ones of people who use drugs are also welcome to seek assistance at harm reduction centres, where we can offer them psychological help and counselling.
Among other services, the centres provide psychological help, and medical, social and peer-to-peer counselling, while also distributing unused injecting equipment and condoms.
In addition to that, we offer rapid testing for HIV and hepatitis C. The list of services provided at the centres also includes overdose prevention and help in case of an overdose, including distribution of naloxone.
