Support person

The work of a support person includes peer-to-peer counselling, distributing information regarding counselling, treatment and rehabilitation services, and assisting with finding suitable services. 

Support persons help the clients with the following: 

  • assisting in finding a place of habitation, including applying for a place in a lodging house, a shelter, or a social housing unit; 
  • peer counselling, including crisis aid; 
  • providing information about getting medical help, including to those without health insurance; 
  • providing information about counselling, treatment and rehabilitation services, as well as assistance in registering to such services; 
  • instructing and/or assisting clients with regards to washing and drying laundry, and showering. 

Service is free for everyone and anonymous!

We welcome people who use drugs.
